I was born in 1946 in Morebath, Devon, and moved to Huish Champflower in 1952, first attending Huish Primary school, and later Kingsmead school at Wiveliscombe. Upon leaving I started work at Beares in Norton Fitzwarren. Ann and I married in 1969 and we have two children and four grand children. I later left Beares and joined Halse of Honiton until 1988, and then Hopkins of Bampton for the next 17 years. I then moved to Ford Fuels at Farrington where I still continue to work to this day.
I have been a Councillor for almost 40 years, and lived in the Parish for 45 years.

I have lived in Raddington for 40 years, since my family moved here to farm at Batscombe. After completing my degree I returned to Raddington to start my own business. I now run a beef and sheep enterprise with my wife Becky and two children.
I feel very lucky to be able to live and work in the parish and to raise my family here. I am glad to be able to contribute to village life through the parish council and to encourage a diverse, vibrant and safe community. I am keen to support local businesses and young families who I believe are essential to the future health of the parish.
Karen Collings – Parish Clerk
I was born and raised in Surrey, attending the local schools. I studied Dance and went on to dance professionally for 5 years, and then switched behind the scenes and worked as a choreographer and teacher, which I still do. For 20 years I was an underwriter for an Insurance company.
I married Charles in 1996 and we moved here 6 years ago. I wanted to do something to help the community and when this post came up it seemed like a good fit.
Helen Goff - Rights of Way Officer
I have lived in Waterrow since the summer of 2007 with my husband Mike, our Border Terrier, cat, horse and pony. I have an interest in the Rights of Way network as I like to walk Roobarb and also ride the local bridleway network when possible. I am a member of Taunton Deane Bridleways Association and the British Horse Society, both of which support off road riding.
If any residents have any concerns about the paths in our parish, please do get in touch (users or landowners). Routes can easily become blocked or unusable and the sooner any problems are reported the easier it will be to keep the routes open for everyone to use and enjoy.
